“E”Miss You “E”, aka E-Boogie, is a native of Philadelphia, PA and now resides in Washington, DC. He is a self taught musician, as well as a strong vocalist, lyricist and producer. He uses what he calls the Code R-E-D formula to describe his sound. R&B is the Root, Jazz is the Essence, and Hip-Hop is the Drive. He began performing R&B, Jazz and Hip-Hop, in and around the Philadelphia area in 1989 with The Frank Jonze Band. He subsequently moved to the DC area in 1991 and began performing with local DC talent under the guidance of Rejuvenation Record's founder Mamadi Nyasuma, for approximately 10 years. He is currenly being managed by Enrique Lopez of Phat Cats Entertainment. He is currently in production on his long awaited debut CD entitled “The Prelude”, due in mid 2005. His first single from the CD will be the ballad entitled, "Speechless" due out in Spring 2005. New artists come a dime a dozen and this new artist is definitely a diamond in the rough. |
