It's All About a

Aaron Bernard Brim
Aaron Bernard
Brim is a Jazz, R&B and Funk, drummer and bandleader. Known as Bernard,
he was born in Reidsville, North Carolina were he began his musical career by
playing in school bands and subsequently the military. In 1987 he moved to
New York, where he attended S.U.N.Y. College at Old Westbury and
studied African American Percussion. He has performed with several bands,
including Duke Jones, Nate Fitzgerald, Dave Gordon, David Peaston, Cheryl
"Pepsi" Riley and the Rhythm Kings. His performances have taken him
to Osaka, Japan, United Arab Emerites in the Middle East and various Jazz
festivals in Mexico and the Carribean.
His debut album is entitled It's All About A Groove and
features the soulful sounds of Alyson Williams on vocals. Allyson can be
heard on the track " I Could Get Used To This". The CD contains 13
tracks, several of which are Bernard's original compositions and several
covers. He is complimented with a variety of musical talent on the CD, including
Reggie Woods on Soprano Sax, Dave Jones on Bass, Carlton Holmes Keyboards,
Piano, Saxy Ric, Tenor Sax, Dave Brarun, Guitar, Jeff Hayes Percussion and
Terry Singletary, vocals.
Bernard will dazzle audiences everywhere with his tasteful, funky and soulful
CD, as he is a master of grooves.
